- We are seeking to recruit a highly competent and experienced Clinical Pathologist to join our team.
- The Clinical Pathologist will provide specialist pathology services, ensuring accurate, timely and clinically relevant diagnostic results while supporting patient care, laboratory quality and evidence-based clinical decision-making.
- KEY
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist interpretation, validation and reporting of laboratory investigations.
- Oversee diagnostic services across haematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology and molecular diagnostics.
Experience
- in histopathology and cytopathology will be an added advantage.
- Communicate critical and clinically significant results promptly to treating clinicians.
- Provide clinical consultation on appropriate investigations and interpretation of complex laboratory results.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory SOPs, quality standards, regulatory
- The successful candidate must have:
- MBChB or equivalent degree from a recognised institution.
- MMed or equivalent qualification in General Pathology/Clinical Pathology.
- Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) and recognition as a specialist.
