Key Duties & Responsibilities
Duties at this level will include:
Seeing and examining patients.
Diagnosing and treating ailments.
Providing clinical outreach and school health services.
Sensitising patients and clients on preventive and promotive health.
Giving support and health education to the community and patients.
Implementing health care activities in liaison with other health workers.
Carrying out surgical procedures as per training and skills.
Collecting and compiling clinical data.
Assessing, preparing, and presenting medical leave reports.
Referring patients to appropriate health care facilities.
Person Specification
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery, Clinical Medicine, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Been registered with the Clinical Officers Council.
Valid practicing license from the Clinical Officers Council.
