Key Primary Responsibilities
Provide advice on making a claim and the processes involved.
Process new insurance claims notifications.
Collect accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim.
Analyze claims made by policyholders.
Contact service providers and arrange repairs on policyholder’s property.
Monitor progress of claims.
Investigate potentially fraudulent claims.
Identify reasons why full payment may not be made.
Ensure fair settlement of valid claims.
Build relationships with loss adjusters, forensic accountants, solicitors and other claims professionals.
Ensure customers are treated fairly and receive excellent service per industry and company guidelines.
Handle complaints associated with claims.
Initiate legal recovery of monies paid out.
Maintain good broker relations.
Keep costs at a minimum.
Adhere to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards.
Ensure premiums are settled prior to claim processing.
Liaise with underwriting department for policy terms and endorsements.
Advise on loss‑making/non‑performing brokers.
Respond promptly to client/stakeholder enquiries.
Ensure discharge vouchers are dispatched and settled per guidelines.
Maintain records of claims processed for effective
query response.
Brief departmental manager regularly and consult as required.
Enter claims data into system.
Assist and train new staff on procedures and policies.
Participate in meetings and consultations to address performance hindrances.

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
