Position: Senior Accountant / Accounting Supervisor (Manufacturing)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-spectrum accounting and financial internal control processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), cash flow, and petty cash management.
- Review and verify daily bookkeeping entries made by accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and local standards.
- Prepare timely, accurate monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports, cost analyses, and management statements.
- Manage end-to-end tax compliance via
- KRA iTax & e-TIMS
- (VAT, PAYE, WHT, Corporate Tax, and statutory deductions like NSSF/SHIF/NITA). Handle KRA queries and audits.
- Manage
- manufacturing cost accounting
- : cost allocation, BOM verification, inventory valuation, and production wastage analysis; participate in physical stock takes.
- Utilize ERP systems (
- Zoho Books / Odoo
- ) and leverage
- AI tools
- to automate workflows, optimize data reporting, and boost team efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants/bookkeepers, fostering continuous professional development.
- Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
