Key Responsibilities
- The Accounts Assistant will be expected to:
- 1. Maintain accurate books of accounts and handle day-to-day bookkeeping activities.
- 2. Prepare bank, M-Pesa, supplier and customer account reconciliations.
- 3. Process payments, invoices and receipts while maintaining proper financial records.
- 4. Support payroll processing and related accounting activities.
- 5. Assist with statutory filings, including KRA, NSSF, SHIF and Housing Levy obligations.
- 6. Provide support during internal and external audits.
- 7. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
- 8. Support donor and grant financial reporting.
- 9. Ensure financial documentation is properly maintained and transactions are accurately recorded.
- Qualifications and Requirements
- Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
- 1. A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 2. Relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- 3. Good knowledge of bookkeeping and financial record management.
- 4. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
