Responsibilities
include coordinating change impacts, facilitating local communications, engaging stakeholders, and monitoring adoption progress—with a key emphasis on transforming DRIVE 2030s strategic changes into actionable, practical, and locally relevant guidance for teams.
Based in Nairobi and reporting directly to the Managing Director of Kenya, the ideal candidate will oversee and execute the following
Develop and sustain a comprehensive grasp of the DRIVE 2030 ecosystem, its deployment methodologies, change management strategies, and critical project milestones.
include integrating local teams into the DRIVE 2030 initiative and its associated projects (e.g., DRIVE, DECLARE, CARLO) while fostering early-stage awareness and participation. This entails coordinating and leading targeted meetings and workshops, as well as leveraging a change management toolkit provided by the DRIVE Central Change Team to drive adoption and engagement across the organization.
Engage actively in organizational workshops, contributing to the evaluation of their effects on roles, operational methods, workflows, structural dynamics, and regional performance.
Coordinate the local Ambassadors’ network for DRIVE 2030, ensuring their seamless onboarding and comprehensive training utilizing the established guidelines from the Central Change team. The DRIVE 2030 ambassadors play a pivotal role in bolstering the Change Relays’ daily change initiatives while serving as influential advocates for the DRIVE 2030 program.
The role involves providing assistance to local HR teams while collaborating with central teams throughout the recruitment process, with a particular emphasis on the hiring of Deployment Officers.
Delivers assistance to local project managers for both the DRIVE 2030 and STREAMLINE initiatives, focusing on change management activities.
Maintain consistent and transparent communication within the local team by utilizing and adapting the DRIVE communication kit, while also executing the DRIVE communication plan as outlined.
Monitor the adoption of changes throughout the project lifecycle by leveraging Change Surveys and other feedback tools. Proactively identify and promptly escalate any change-specific requirements, potential risks, or areas of resistance to the central change team to ensure alignment with user readiness and adoption goals.
Collaborate effectively with the Deployment Officer, Training Coordinator, and local management teams to synchronize change management initiatives, training programs, and operational readiness efforts.
To ensure seamless operations during Go-Live and Hypercare phases, maintain a strong on-site presence to provide direct support to managers and end-users.
