We're building the software that runs our operations - client-facing mobile experiences and the backend services behind them — and we're hiring our first dedicated backend developer in Kenya. You'll own real systems end to end, working directly with US leadership and alongside our remote team in Kenya and the Philippines.
What you'll do:
Design, build, and operate backend services in Go (REST/gRPC APIs, background workers, integrations)
Own the PostgreSQL layer: schema design, migrations, query performance, and data integrity for sensitive healthcare-adjacent data
Ship to production: Docker-based deploys, CI, monitoring, and pragmatic incident response
Collaborate with our Flutter front-end work (API contracts; Flutter
