Responsibilities
- Clinical Duties
- Provide assessment, stabilization, and treatment of medical, surgical, and obstetric emergencies.
- Coordinate with Ministry of Health teams on infectious disease surveillance.
- Attend to walk‑in patients and conduct pre‑placement/periodic medical exams.
- Administer immunizations and travel health advice.
- Coordinate medical evacuations and follow‑up with specialists.
- Deliver health
Education
- and counselling.
- Respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis, including house calls and hospital rounds.
- Medico‑Administrative Duties
- Liaise with host nation medical facilities and dispensaries.
- Apply UN policies on medical clearances, sick leave, and evacuations.
- Prepare paperwork and reports for medical evacuations.
- Supervise nurses and clinic staff.
- Establish relations with hospitals, private facilities, and blood banks.
- Supervisory & Administrative Duties

- Supervise JMS nurse at duty station.
