Responsibilities

  • Billing of duly registered students.
  • Receipting of MPESA payments.
  • Handle student finance inquiries.
  • Verify, post, and issue receipts for payments made to the University via cheques, Mpesa, direct deposit transfers, etc.
  • Verify third-party documents presented for receipting to ensure that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist in class spot checks.
  • Reconcile daily receipts summary.
  • Reconcile the students’ accounts.
  • Ensure all cheques received are banked promptly.
  • Ensure safe custody of banking slips.
  • Ensure all documents are properly filled.
  • Assist in checking financial compliance during end-of-semester exams.
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor.
