- At least a Certificate in Animal Health Production, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Technology or its equivalent from accredited and recognized institution;
- At least Two (2) years’ experience working with laboratory animals;
- A minimum of KCSE Mean Grade of D+ (Plus);
- Familiarity with laboratory animal care, protocols and procedures;
- Must possess animal handling and restraining skills;
- Experience with data entry and record-keeping systems;
- Well vast with practical demonstrations for undergraduate students;
- Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding ethical care and use of animals; and
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
