The successful candidate will work closely with Android engineers, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Designers and backend teams to develop new features, improve application performance and deliver reliable, user-friendly mobile experiences. The intern will have the opportunity to take ownership of assigned features and contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from implementation and testing to release.
The role will involve building and improving features for the Branch Android application using modern Android development practices. The intern will contribute to creating responsive interfaces, improving application stability and helping ensure that the application provides a smooth

A key responsibility will be working with backend services and APIs. The successful candidate will assist with integrating REST APIs and supporting new product functionality that requires communication between the mobile application and backend systems.
