Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records. • Post Accounting transactions into the accounting software • Asset register maintenance • End month closing procedures including ledger reconciliations • Perform bank and Mpesa reconciliations daily • Filing of taxes including Withholding Tax, PAYE, Housing Levy etc. and reconciliation of the respective ledger accounts. • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and required documentation. • Prepare financial reports and conduct financial analysis to support decision-making. • Monitor compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements. • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. • Analyze financial and operational data using statistical tools. • Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
