Unga Holding is seeking an Accounting Clerk – Weighbridge Operations to support weighing, documentation, inventory control and record-keeping activities associated with finished goods, raw materials and other plant transactions.
The successful candidate will help ensure that weighbridge operations are accurately documented, properly controlled and aligned with internal procedures. The role also involves coordinating with stock control, security, quality assurance teams, drivers and other stakeholders involved in the movement of materials and finished products.

KEY
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit daily weighbridge reports while accounting for tickets generated through the e-weigh system.
- Verify documentation for consignments before vehicles are weighed.
- Ensure transactions are posted through the e-weigh system and obtain approval for authorized manual weighing.
- Register vehicles involved in finished goods orders and raw material deliveries.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams for timely sampling.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls governing weighbridge operations.
- Monitor raw material offloading at intake points and identify abnormalities.
- Support effective utilization of outsourced staff and raw material truck queues.
- Maintain delivery notes, waybills, inspection reports, receipt summaries and physical inventory worksheets.
- Ensure trucks are weighed efficiently to support timely offloading.
- Ensure weighbridge operations are opened and closed on time.
- Supporting the sampling of raw materials upon entry.
- Promoting efficient utilization of intake facilities during receiving operations.
- Coordinating between stock control, security teams and drivers to maintain an orderly flow of work.
- Reporting discrepancies between invoices, delivery notes and physical tally sheets to the Plant Accountant.
- Alerting the Plant Accountant about significant variations identified at the weighbridge before second weighing is undertaken.
