Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping & Financial Operations
  • Accurately post daily financial transactions, invoices, and expenses into the Tally ERP system.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial entries are correctly classified and supported by proper documentation.
  • Manage and reconcile petty cash disbursements, ensuring adherence to internal financial controls.
  • Reconciliations & Account Management
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly bank reconciliations to resolve any discrepancies between the company’s books and bank statements.
  • Monitor accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely processing of vendor payments and prompt follow-up on outstanding client invoices.
  • Tax & Statutory Compliance
  • Accurately compute and prepare schedules for Value Added Tax (VAT) and Withholding Tax (WHT).
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and basic accounting principles, assisting with the timely filing of statutory returns.
  • Reporting & Administration
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to prepare basic financial summaries, expense reports, and budget trackers for management review.
  • Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all accounting records, receipts, and tax documents.
  • Use Microsoft Word and Outlook for professional correspondence with vendors, clients, and internal departments.
  • KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • CPA (Part II or III) certification OR a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
