The successful candidates will build strong customer relationships, manage client portfolios, facilitate asset financing processes, and ensure clients receive exceptional support throughout their journey. Key

Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition
  • Promote Tugende's products and services to prospective clients.
  • Identify and acquire new customers through field visits, business centres, and repeat client engagement.
  • Manage a portfolio of up to 200 active leases.
  • Identify customer needs and promote additional products and services.
  • Client Vetting
  • Conduct client, home, stage, and guarantor visits in line with company credit policies.
  • Capture and maintain accurate client information within the CRM system.
  • Process and approve qualified clients through the internal system.
  • Client Training and Administration
  • Educate clients on asset financing terms and conditions.
  • Explain payment schedules, repayment channels, and the company's cashless payment policy.
  • Train clients on insurance coverage, reporting procedures for stolen assets, and guarantor responsibilities.
  • Update client records after successful training.
  • Ensure clients' KRA PINs and National IDs are correctly captured in company records.
  • Advise customers on asset maintenance, servicing, health, and safety practices.
  • Loan Disbursement and Portfolio Management
  • Guide clients through loan agreement signing and documentation.
  • Explain available payment methods and repayment expectations.
  • Monitor customer repayments through phone calls and field visits.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and initiate recovery procedures where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate loan documentation and customer records.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Incident and Asset Management
  • Coordinate support for customers experiencing accidents, theft, or mechanical breakdowns.
  • Process insurance-related documentation.
  • Assist clients with impounded assets and ensure compliance with loan terms.
  • Document and report all incidents accurately.
  • After-Sales Support
  • Build long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities through customer referrals and repeat business.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and agreements.
  • Qualifications and

Experience

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in a Business-related course.
  • At least one (1) year of
  • in microfinance or a related industry is preferred.
  • Motorcycle riding competence is a mandatory requirement.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
