Havana Diani is looking for a capable, hands-on Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead the branch day to day. The role is focused on service standards, team supervision, guest experience, and profitable sales growth. We are looking for someone who is visible on the floor, takes ownership of each shift, supports the team, and ensures guests receive the consistent Havana experience: they expect. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily service operations across the floor and bar. Drive profitable sales through active floor presence, guest engagement, upselling, and proper team direction. Monitor daily sales performance and help deliver agreed targets. Supervise wait staff, bartenders, runners, and support staff during shifts. Ensure guests are welcomed, served professionally, and attended to throughout their visit. Handle guest complaints and service issues quickly and professionally. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, table setup, presentation, uniforms, hygiene, and ambience. Monitor service speed, staff discipline, teamwork, and shift performance. Ensure opening, closing, handover, and cash/POS procedures are properly followed. Work closely with the kitchen, bar, stock control, maintenance, and finance teams. Support stock control by reporting wastage, breakages, shortages, and operational issues promptly. Train, mentor, and motivate staff to improve service standards and professionalism. Enforce company rules, operating procedures, and discipline fairly and consistently. Report operational issues, staff matters, guest feedback, and sales performance to management. Requirements: Proven experience: in restaurant, bar, or hotel management.Strong leadership and staff supervision skills. Good understanding of service operations, floor management, and guest relations. Commercial mindset with the ability to drive sales, control costs, and improve performance. Hands-on, disciplined, reliable, and able to take ownership. Excellent communication skills in English and Kiswahili. Comfortable working with POS systems, daily reports, and sales tracking. Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and busy hospitality shifts. Experience: in a reputable Coast or Nairobi hotel, restaurant, or tourism-focused establishment will be an added advantage.
