Min Qualification: Diploma Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Kenya Job descriptions & requirements JOB TITLE JUNIOR SALES EXECUTIVE – FURNITURE NATURE OF JOB FULL TIME INDUSTRY INTERIOR DESIGN & FURNITURE MANUFACTURING SALARY KSHS.30,000-50,000 NET JOB LOCATION NAIROBI DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales & Business Development · Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and walk-in customer engagement. · Meet and exceed individual monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. · Prepare quotations, proposals, negotiate pricing within approved guidelines, and successfully close sales. · Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling complementary furniture products and accessories. · Proactively follow up on quotations, leads, dormant prospects, and previous customers to maximize sales opportunities. Customer Relationship Management · Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. · Engage customers to understand their needs, budgets, preferences, and space requirements, recommending appropriate furniture solutions. · Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales journey, from initial inquiry to post-sale support. · Address customer concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring timely resolution and a positive customer experience. Product Knowledge & Consultation · Conduct professional product presentations and showroom tours, highlighting product features, quality, functionality, and design benefits. · Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's product range, furniture materials, finishes, and customization options. · Keep up to date with interior design trends, furniture innovations, market developments, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations. Order & Sales Administration · Manage the complete sales process from lead generation to order confirmation, payment follow-up, delivery coordination, and after-sales support. · Liaise with the operations, procurement, logistics, and installation teams to ensure accurate order processing and timely deliveries. · Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and opportunity pipelines within the company's CRM or sales management system. · Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence. Marketing & Brand Representation · Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, promotional events, showroom campaigns, and networking activities to generate new business opportunities. · Ensure showroom displays and merchandising standards are maintained to enhance the customer shopping experience. · Represent the company professionally at all customer interactions and industry events. Performance & Compliance · Consistently achieve assigned sales targets and key performance indicators. · Adhere to company policies, procedures, pricing guidelines, and ethical sales practices. · Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing market feedback and customer insights to management. KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION · Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. · 2–3 years of proven sales experience in furniture sales or a related industry. · A background or knowledge in interior design will be an added advantage. · Experience working with residential and commercial clients is desirable. · Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. · Strong customer service and relationship management abilities. · Good presentation and selling skills. · Ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
