RVTTI Jobs. Looking for a technician job in Kenya? RVTTI is recruiting a Carpentry Technician II position in Eldoret. Proficiency in carpentry, building technology, and workshop safety is required. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining updated inventory and overall maintenance of equipment and facilities within the designated work station Cleanliness, organization and general layout of the work station Responsible for issuing and receiving tools and equipments to and from trainers and trainees Reporting to section heads on delays, problems, materials equipment needed and progress on practical requisitions Preparation and assembly of practical materials Ensuring safety of the workshop and equipment Responsible for supervising and ensuring safety measures amongst trainees and any attachees in the workshop Carry out repairs and maintenance of equipment in the institute. Requirements Craft certificate in Building Technology/Carpentry Must have at least 3 years’ experience with a reputable institution or organization Must be computer literate Registration with Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) will be an added advantage Above the age of 25 years How to Apply Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
