KENYA REGION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales and Business Development Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Sell and promote the company's FMCG products to existing and prospective customers. Identify and recruit new retail outlets to grow market coverage. Introduce new products and promotional offers to customers. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business. Order Fulfilment and Delivery Deliver products accurately and on time along the assigned route. Verify deliveries against invoices or delivery notes and obtain proof of delivery. Handle product returns in accordance with company procedures. Ensure products are transported and handled safely to minimize losses and damages. Customer Service and Merchandising Ensure products are well displayed and merchandised at customer outlets where applicable. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally. Monitor stock levels at customer outlets and recommend replenishment where necessary. Stock, Collections, and Vehicle Management Account for all stock loaded onto the van and report any discrepancies. Collect customer payments in line with company credit policies and reconcile daily sales and collections. Maintain the assigned sales vehicle in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition and report maintenance requirements promptly. Reporting and Compliance Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, collections, and customer visits. Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and activity reports. Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management. Comply with company policies, health and safety requirements, and traffic regulations KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION Diploma or Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Van Salesman selling FMCG products. Previous experience working for an FMCG distribution company is required. Valid driving licence with good driving skills and a clean driving record. Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and work in a target-driven environment. Strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent customer service and relationship management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good planning and route management skills.
