About the Role The Deputy Principal supports the Principal in the overall leadership, management, and development of the school. The role focuses on maintaining high academic standards, promoting a positive school culture, supporting staff performance, and ensuring effective day-to-day operations in line with the school’s vision and Cambridge standards. Key Responsibilities Academic Leadership Support the implementation and delivery of the Cambridge curriculum across all key stages Support curriculum planning, assessment, and reporting Analyse academic data to inform improvement strategies Lead academic improvement initiatives as delegated by the Principal Staff Management & Development Support supervision, mentoring, and appraisal of teaching and support staff Assist in staff induction and ongoing professional development Promote a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement Student Welfare & Discipline Support student behaviour management and pastoral care systems Promote student wellbeing, safeguarding, and child protection policies Engage with parents regarding student progress, behaviour, and welfare School Operations & Administration Assist in the daily running of the school to ensure smooth operations Step in for the Principal when required Support timetabling, examinations, school events, and activities Ensure compliance with school policies, health & safety, and regulatory requirements Community & Parent Engagement Build positive relationships with parents, staff, and the wider school community Represent the school professionally at meetings and events Support admissions, open days, and school marketing activities Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s degree is an advantage) Teaching qualification recognised in Kenya Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, preferably in an international or Cambridge school Previous leadership or senior management experience is highly desirable How to Apply Click here to apply 🎯 Applying for This Job?
