The successful candidate will facilitate effective communication between Chinese-speaking personnel and local teams by providing accurate oral and written translation services. The ideal candidate should possess strong Mandarin language ski Min Qualification: Certificate Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 1 year Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Rest of Kenya, Kenya Job descriptions & requirements We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chinese Translator to facilitate effective communication between Chinese-speaking personnel and local teams within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will provide accurate interpretation and translation services while promoting seamless cross-cultural communication. Key Responsibilities Interpret verbal communication between Mandarin and English/Swahili. Translate documents, manuals, reports, and business correspondence. Support meetings, training sessions, and day-to-day workplace communication. Bridge communication gaps between management and employees. Maintain confidentiality of all translated information. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Language, Translation, Linguistics, International Relations, or a related field. HSK Level 1, 2, 3, or 4 certification is required. Mandarin Language Certificate is an added advantage. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in translation, interpretation, or a similar role. Fresh graduates with strong Mandarin proficiency are encouraged to apply. Excellent spoken and written Mandarin and English (knowledge of Swahili is an added advantage). Strong communication, listening, and interpretation skills. High attention to detail, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
