Platinum Outsourcing and Logistics Fuel Clerk Jobs in Kenya Platinum Outsourcing and Logistics Fuel Clerk Jobs in Kenya Job Purpose To control the issuance, recording, and reconciliation of fuel for company vehicles and equipment, ensuring accurate inventory management and compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Issue fuel to authorized vehicles and equipment in line with company procedures. Verify vehicle registration, driver details, mileage, and fuel authorization before dispensing. Record all fuel transactions accurately in registers or fuel management systems. Monitor daily fuel consumption and identify unusual usage or discrepancies. Reconcile daily fuel stock against issued quantities and physical inventory. Conduct routine fuel tank dip measurements and maintain stock records. Report shortages, leakages, losses, or suspected fraud immediately. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fuel consumption and stock reports. Coordinate fuel deliveries and verify supplier quantities. Maintain cleanliness and safety of fuel storage and dispensing areas. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Maintain documentation of fuel receipts, issue vouchers, and inventory records. Provide accurate fuel usage data to support fleet management. Assist in periodic fuel audits and stock verification exercises. Qualifications Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Stores Management, Accounting, or related field. Training in inventory or fuel management is an added advantage. Basic computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel and inventory systems. Key Skills & Competencies Knowledge of fuel inventory control and reconciliation. Understanding of fleet operations and fuel monitoring. Strong numerical and record‑keeping skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
