Min Qualification: Diploma Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Kenya Job descriptions & requirements JOB TITLE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR NATURE OF JOB FULL TIME INDUSTRY MANUFACTURING SALARY KSHS.30,000-35,000 JOB LOCATION ALONG MOMBASA ROAD DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES People management: Should lead by example, set clear expectations, and motivate their team to achieve production goals by providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively and effectively. They should communicate clearly with their team, listen to their concerns, provide feedback, and address any issues that may arise in a timely manner. Scheduling of all production team members (production workers and Machine Operators to minimize overtime and maximize output. They should foster a positive work environment, encourage collaboration, and recognize and reward team members for their contributions. Identifying employees training needs and communicating to Production Engineer for planning purposes Training Production worker and Machine Operators on Kaizen and ISO best practices. (to maximize productivity). Tracking daily performance of Production workers /Machine Operators Handling disciplinary issues with the help of HR and Contractors Supervisor and reporting all personnel issues and following up for closure. Production Plan shifts for the Production Workers and Machine Operators Make sure that all machines are running in the correct cycle time, correct standard weight and raw material have been picked from the stores. Plan production runs and Supervise mould changes by the Machine Operators Track daily productions of each machine by signing the production form Resolve all quality issues raised during production. Working Area/Health and Safety Making sure that employees working area is always clean Machine and factory cleaning days have been observed. Liaise with the contractors supervisor to make sure that staff personal hygiene has been maintained Making sure to observe and follow all the communicated safety procedures before, during and after working. To ensure optimal machine downtime and maintenance of all machine tooling. Suggest new innovative ideas to help improve our process. KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering or equivalent At least 3years of experience in manufacturing Previous experience in a supervisory capacity Having worked in a plastic products manufacturing factory will be an added advantage HOW TO APPLY If you meet the above qualifications, skills and experience share CV on recruitment@britesmanagement.com Interviews will be carried out on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
