Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya Jobs. Looking for a project management job in Kenya? PS) is hiring a Programme Development & Partnerships Lead to design and manage strategic programmes. The role is based in Nairobi and experience in project coordination is required. The Programme Development and Partnerships Lead is responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Society’s strategic programmes, projects and partnerships. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate shall coordinate project planning and execution, grant acquisition and management, partnership development, monitoring and evaluation, implementation of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), resource mobilisation initiatives and programme reporting in support of the Society’s strategic priorities and organisational sustainability. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate shall: Coordinate the development, planning and implementation of strategic programmes and projects aligned with the Society’s Strategic Plan and annual priorities. Coordinate the identification, development and submission of grant proposals, concept notes and funding applications in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer. Coordinate implementation of donor-funded programmes and projects, ensuring compliance with grant agreements, approved work plans, budgets, timelines and reporting requirements. Coordinate programme planning, implementation, monitoring and close-out to ensure timely delivery of agreed milestones, outputs and outcomes. Coordinate the implementation, monitoring and reporting of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), partnership agreements and collaborative initiatives to ensure agreed deliverables are achieved. Coordinate operational engagement with development partners, Government agencies, regulatory bodies, academic institutions, professional associations, private sector organizations and international partners in programme implementation. Coordinate programme budgets, timelines, procurement requirements, risk management activities and resource utilization in collaboration with the Finance Lead and Chief Executive Officer. Coordinate the preparation of technical reports, donor reports, concept papers, briefing notes and programme documentation. Coordinate monitoring, evaluation, learning and impact measurement activities, including programme indicators, performance tracking and dissemination of lessons learned. Coordinate resource mobilization initiatives through strategic partnerships, grant opportunities, sponsorships and collaborative projects that advance the Society’s strategic priorities. Coordinate training programmes, technical workshops, partner engagements and capacity-building initiatives under Society projects and partnerships. Coordinate multidisciplinary programme teams, consultants, technical working groups and implementing partners to ensure effective programme delivery. Monitor programme performance and prepare periodic implementation reports for the Chief Executive Officer to support strategic decision-making and organizational accountability. Identify emerging programme opportunities, strategic partnerships and funding mechanisms that strengthen the Society’s impact, sustainability and regional and international presence. Maintain a centralized programme management framework for all Society projects, grants and partnerships, ensuring effective documentation, compliance, reporting and institutional knowledge management. Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer consistent with the strategic objectives of the Society. Qualifications Applicants must possess: A Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) or an equivalent pharmacy qualification recognized in Kenya. A postgraduate qualification or certifications in Project Management, Public Health, International Development, Business Administration, Grant management, Resource Mobilisation, Strategic Management or related field will be an added advantage. Demonstrated progressive leadership experience in programme management, project management, grant management, partnership development or organizational development. Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects, technical programmes or institutional initiatives.
