Assistant Sales Manager (Automotive)-250k Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 6 years Location Nairobi Job Field Sales and Business Development Job Purpose The role focuses on developing and leading a sales team to drive vehicle sales, ensuring adherence to the sales process from enquiry to delivery, and building a strong customer base in the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities: Manage the team to grow the customer base and achieve market share targets by meeting sales volumes and revenue goals. Conduct sales activities including calls, market visits, presentations, negotiations, and deal closures. Identify, acquire, and manage major customer accounts. Guide the structuring of complex transactions including trucks, trade-in packages, finance, and ancillary offerings. Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Provide market intelligence, forecasts, and regular reporting on sales activities. Ensure efficient resolution of client issues and compliance with company policies. Oversee KYC, credit documentation, invoicing, and delivery status reporting. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (service, parts, finance, accounting, remarketing). Submit timely reports including daily call logs, weekly visit reports, and pipeline updates. Conduct product knowledge training for team members, customers, and dealers. Drive promotional activities to penetrate new markets and expand geographic reach.
