They are now seeking a rainmaker —a sales hunter who already has deep roots in Nairobi's F&B industry and can start generating revenue from Day One . Key Responsibilities 1. B2B Wholesale Acquisition (Core Function) Aggressively prospect and secure hotels, high-end cafes, restaurants, industrial bakeries, artisan patisseries, and corporate caterers across Nairobi (Westlands, Kilimani, Karen, Industrial Area, and uptown estates). Leverage your existing contact database to introduce our client's product range (pre-mixes, chocolates, spreads, and toppings) to purchasing managers and head chefs. 2. Revenue Growth & Account Management Drive recurring weekly/monthly orders by building long-term supply relationships. Introduce bulk subscription models for hotels requiring consistent pastry output. Identify seasonal peaks (Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, wedding seasons) and upsell volume accordingly. Expand into the retail/home-baker segment by promoting retail-packaged products to smaller bakeries and cooking schools. 3. Technical Sales Support Collaborate with the in-house culinary team to organize product tastings and baking demonstrations for prospective clients. Use formulation expertise to show clients how our client's ingredients can solve their production challenges (e.g., consistency, shelf-life, yield). 4. Market Intelligence Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, and client preferences within the Nairobi bakery supply chain. Provide feedback to management on emerging trends and unmet needs in the market. Requirements (Strict Criteria) Requirement Details Industry Experience Minimum 2+ years of B2B sales experience in bakery ingredients, food commodities, or related FMCG perishables within Kenya.
