Min Qualification: Diploma Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 1 year Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Kenya Job descriptions & requirements JOB TITLE MACHINE OPERATOR NATURE OF JOB FULL TIME INDUSTRY MANUFACTURING SALARY KSHS.22,000-30,000 JOB LOCATION RUIRU DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Machine Operation & Production Operate production machines according to established procedures and production schedules. Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent production output. Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines to meet production requirements. Load raw materials and ensure proper machine feeding during production. Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and machine performance. Quality Control Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards. Identify defects, inconsistencies, or production issues and take corrective action where necessary. Follow quality control procedures and maintain product specifications. Report any quality concerns to the supervisor or relevant department. Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine checks and basic preventive maintenance on production equipment. Identify and report machine faults, breakdowns, and unusual operating conditions. Assist maintenance teams during repairs and servicing activities. Ensure machines are kept clean and operate in optimal condition. Safety & Compliance Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times. Operate machinery safely and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized work area. Comply with company policies, production standards, and operational procedures. Team Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with production teams to achieve daily manufacturing targets. Communicate machine performance issues and production updates to supervisors. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
