School Operations Officer overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the school, requiring a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with 3-5 years experience: in operations or facilities management, in an education: environment, on-site role. Our client is a well-established educational institution committed to delivering holistic learning while upholding high standards of governance, accountability, and financial transparency. The School Operations Officer will oversee the day-to-day operational functions of the school, ensuring a safe, efficient, well-maintained, and secure environment for students, staff, and guests. The role will coordinate transport, facilities, maintenance, security, housekeeping, and general operational support. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the school’s transportation system, including vehicles, routes, schedules, maintenance, and safety compliance. Supervise maintenance of school buildings, grounds, utilities, landscaping, and other facilities. Coordinate routine and emergency repairs and ensure preventive maintenance is undertaken. Supervise security personnel and ensure effective protection of students, staff, school property, and assets. Maintain effective systems for keys, access control, asset tracking, and security. Ensure compliance with health, safety, emergency preparedness, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate safety drills, inspections, and follow-up on identified risks and hazards. Supervise transport, maintenance, grounds, security, and housekeeping staff, including work schedules and performance. Coordinate contractors and casual workers and ensure work is completed to the required standards. Oversee housekeeping services and ensure guest houses are clean, safe, well-maintained, and adequately stocked. Provide logistical and operational support for school activities, boarding, faculty, and guests. Monitor supplies, equipment, stock levels, and operational purchases while ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Support operational budgeting, cost control, compliance audits, and implementation of recommendations. Maintain accurate operational records, including staff attendance, leave, maintenance, transport, security, and incident reports.
