Médecins Sans Frontières Information Systems Specialist Jobs in Kenya Médecins Sans Frontières Information Systems Specialist Jobs in Kenya Job Purpose To plan, coordinate, and ensure autonomous implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and support of IT, Radio, and Telecom systems across MSF France’s Kenya mission. The role provides technical support, training, and compliance oversight to guarantee efficient use of IT and telecom infrastructure in line with MSF standards, policies, and protocols. Key Responsibilities Monitor, maintain, and follow up on IT, Radio, and Telecom equipment and services. Adapt and implement IT/Telecom policies and guidelines to mission needs. Prepare annual budgets for IT/Telecom, provide technical input for procurement, and participate in tender processes. Supervise and improve data security protocols (firewalls, backups, user access, equipment/software security). Provide technical support and training to users and logistics experts. Archive and update ICT documentation following infrastructure changes. Act as GIS technical referent for MSF Geo platform (MSF Mapper, Elixir Portail). Ensure compliance with MSF standards on data protection, confidentiality, and ethics. Support digital solutions administration, reporting, and knowledge sharing. Qualifications & Requirements Education University Degree in Computer Science or related field. Certification in network or server administration (advantage). Experience Minimum 5 years’ proven IT/technical experience. At least 2 years in information management within humanitarian or protection programs. Languages Fluent English and Kiswahili. Technical Knowledge Microsoft Office365, SharePoint, Server Management (Active Directory, Hyper‑V). Network Administration (LAN, VLAN, protocols). File server administration and Fortinet equipment (advantage). Radio telecommunications (HF, VHF, GSM, Satellite). IT security, hardware maintenance, ITSM tools.
