The role supports supplier and stakeholder relationships, drives process improvements and provides performance tracking to inform strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities: Targeted Process & Performance Improvement Support cross‑functional initiatives by developing templates, SOPs and training materials. Coordinate reviews with BUs to clear aged PRs and POs. Perform root cause analysis to improve PR‑PO turnaround. Identify capability gaps and propose incremental improvements. Facilitate collaboration between BU and PRO teams. Promote proactive communication to resolve issues early. Strategic Sourcing Define scope and profile of assigned categories. Conduct spend and market analysis to identify opportunities. Develop sourcing strategies with objectives for savings, quality and risk mitigation. Identify, evaluate and pre‑qualify suppliers. Lead RFx processes, negotiate pricing, SLAs, terms and integrate suppliers. Finalize and execute contracts with favorable terms. Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement. Reporting & Documentation Prepare routine reports and dashboards on project progress. Support data collection and ad‑hoc market research requests. Capture supplier performance data to improve service levels. Analyze cost drivers and trends to support planning. Promote standardization and consolidation across BUs. Monitor KPIs and follow up on corrective actions. Maintain audit‑ready documentation for compliance and transparency. Qualifications & Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Analytical and data analysis skills, advanced Excel proficiency. Knowledge of process improvement tools (DMAIC, 5 Whys). Supply chain risk management and commercial contracting skills. Strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management expertise. Commercial negotiation skills. Fluent in English and Kiswahili preferred.
