Requirements For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have: Cumulative service period of fifteen (15) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been in the grade of Assistant Manager Hospitality Services or in a comparable position; Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Hotel and Hospitality Management; Event Management, Catering/Accommodation Management, Institutional Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Food and Beverage Production/Management and Service; Food and Beverage Management; or a related qualification from a recognized institution; Master’s Degree from in any of the following disciplines: Hotel and Hospitality Management; Event Management, Catering/Accommodation Management, Institutional Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Food and Beverage Production/Management and Service; Food and Beverage Management; Business Administration; Strategic Management or a related qualification from a recognized institution; Membership to a relevant professional body and in good standing where applicable; A valid practising certificate where applicable; Certificate in leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised Institution; Proficiency in computer applications; and Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
