Experience in IT leadership is required. Gilani’s Distributors Limited (GDL) is seeking a Head of Technology & Transformation to lead its technology and digital transformation initiatives. The role focuses on aligning technology with business strategy, improving systems and operations, building internal capabilities, and delivering measurable business results. This is a strategic leadership position that goes beyond traditional IT management. About the Role Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for transforming GDL’s technology landscape and establishing the foundations for a scalable, data-driven distribution business. You will lead initiatives across: ERP optimisation and governance Systems integration and architecture Data and analytics platforms Sales Force Automation (SFA) Transport Management Systems (TMS) AI and automation initiatives Technology vendor management Cybersecurity and business continuity Building a lean, high-performing internal technology team Key Responsibilities Stabilising and optimising our Acumatica ERP environment. Establishing technology governance and reducing vendor dependency. Creating a clear technology roadmap aligned to business priorities. Delivering priority transformation projects on time and within budget. Improving visibility of profitability, inventory, logistics, and operational performance through data. Building internal technology capability that allows GDL to own its future. Identifying and implementing practical AI solutions that drive measurable business value.
