Min Qualification: Diploma Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Kenya Job descriptions & requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards Manage dough preparation, fermentation, and portioning to ensure consistency Ensure high-quality ingredients are used and properly stored Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes Monitor cooking times and temperatures for optimal results Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours Manage inventory of pizza ingredients and assist in stock control Minimize waste and support cost control initiatives Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations Contribute to menu development and new pizza offerings where required QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field Minimum 2 years experience as a Pizza Chef, preferably in a hotel or high-end restaurant Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques (hand-stretched, wood-fired, or deck ovens) Experience handling dough preparation and fermentation processes Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure Good communication and teamwork skills.
