Responsible to: Factory Manager Responsible for: Laboratory Technicians, TMH section head, in process inspector. Job Location Head-Office –Nairobi. Scope of the Job a) Annual Budget b) Staff Significant Relationships a) Internal b) External Raw , packaging material store, TMH Factory, Soap factory, Accounts Department, Logistic & Purchasing and Marketing Department. Supply Chains of other OUs Key Accountabilities: ➢ To coordinate the activities of the entire laboratory operations to ensure right testing method are used and operations are within the departmental budget ➢ To coordinate Good manufacturing Practice activities on site in line with agreed GMP standards (PZC GMP Standard/PPLB GMP requirements). ➢ To ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) and improve on the system. ➢ To collate and prepare data in order to assist factories RCA’s and problem solving sessions ➢ Managing team and individual performance through regular reviews, monitoring objectives and ensuring development ➢ Ensure all products are of the right quality through analysis of raw materials, packaging, in process and finished goods. ➢ Ensuring quality products are delivered from third party and do scheduled Supplier Audit and report through addressing of material non-conformance cases with the respective suppliers. ➢ Ensuring Customer / Market complains are analysed and feedback given after thorough Root Cause Analysis. Person Specification: Qualifications: Degree in Chemistry or any Chemistry related Field Technical/Professional Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in FMCG Company.
