The role is based in Nairobi and experience in building maintenance is required. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to service requests and repair electrical systems efficiently, minimising downtime. Conduct preventative maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, equipment, and fixtures. Handle contingency power systems, including generators and UPS. Supervise electrical works carried out by contractors within the building. Inspect systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or non-compliance with codes. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and operational records. Ensure full compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations at all times. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for installation work. Perform physically demanding tasks, including working from ladders/scaffolds and conduit installation.
