Min Qualification: Bachelors Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Kenya Job descriptions & requirements JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER Recruiter: Human Capital Outsourcing Limited (On behalf of our Client) Industry: Poultry Farming | Food Processing | FMCG Location: Thika, Kenya Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Human Resources & Administration Reports To: Chief Executive Officer Position Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, staff training and development, HR compliance, payroll support, records management, and office administration while ensuring efficient business operations and compliance with Kenyan labour laws. Key Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction of employees. Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, transfers, and other HR documentation. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Coordinate staff attendance, leave management, and employee welfare programs. Support payroll preparation by providing accurate employee data and statutory information. Coordinate staff performance management and appraisal processes. Organize employee training, development, and capacity-building programs. Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and statutory requirements. Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Coordinate occupational health and safety initiatives. Manage office administration, facilities, and support services. Coordinate procurement of office supplies and administrative resources. Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics for management. Support employee engagement and organizational culture initiatives. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure statutory compliance. Perform any other duties assigned by management. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources. CHRP Qualification Added Advantage. IHRM Membership Good Standing. Three Years HR Experience.• Manufacturing Experience Preferred. Kenyan Labour Laws Knowledge. Recruitment Management Experience. Employee Relations Experience. Performance Management Experience. Training Coordination Experience. HRIS Systems Proficiency. Microsoft Office Proficiency.
