Min Qualification: Bachelors Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 1 year Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Kenya Job descriptions & requirements Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Workforce Management Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters and workplace concerns. Conduct disciplinary processes, investigations, hearings, and grievance management in accordance with company policy and labor laws. Advise line managers on employee performance, conduct, attendance, and workplace behavior issues. Support conflict resolution and foster professional workplace relationships across all levels of the organization. Monitor employee engagement and recommend interventions to improve workplace culture and productivity. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for both operational and support functions. Manage employee onboarding, induction, and probation processes. Partner with departmental heads to identify workforce requirements and succession needs. Performance Management Support implementation of performance management processes and employee development initiatives. Monitor performance improvement plans and provide guidance to managers on employee performance issues. Track HR metrics and provide reports to management on workforce trends and challenges. HR Operations & Compliance Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, statutory requirements, and HR best practices. Coordinate contract administration, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits. Support payroll preparation by ensuring timely submission of employee data and attendance records. Manage leave administration, employee shift coordination, absenteeism tracking, and workforce attendance monitoring. Training & Organizational Support Identify training needs and coordinate employee learning and development initiatives. Support implementation of HR projects, policies, and organizational change initiatives. Participate in audits and ensure HR documentation remains compliant and up to date. Key RequirementsQualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Commerce-HR Option, or a related field. Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management is an added advantage. IHRM membership and a valid practicing certificate is anadded advantage. Experience Minimum 2 years' experience in Human Resource Management, within manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, industrial, or other fast-paced operational environments. Experience managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and HR compliance. Experience supporting large and diverse workforces will be an added advantage. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Ability to prioritize competing demands and work effectively in a dynamic environment. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity. Strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
