Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in production machinery. Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Support installation and commissioning of new machinery. Troubleshooting & Repairs Identify mechanical problems and determine appropriate corrective actions. Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Repair or replace defective machine parts and components. Conduct root cause analysis of recurring mechanical failures. Equipment Monitoring & Performance Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities. Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and calibration of equipment. Maintain machinery in optimal working condition. Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records. Record all repairs, parts replaced, and maintenance activities. Prepare reports on machine performance and downtime incidents. Update maintenance schedules and work orders. Safety & Compliance Adhere to workplace safety standards and procedures. Ensure proper use of tools and protective equipment. Support compliance with industrial safety regulations. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems. Proven experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repair. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good technical and mechanical aptitude. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
