The Opportunity EAMDA is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst Associate to support data management, analysis, visualization, and reporting across the organization’s programmes and business functions. The Business Analyst Associate will work closely with programme, research, and monitoring teams to transform data into actionable insights that support decision-making, learning, and impact measurement. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in data analytics within the agricultural development and market systems sector. The SPARK internship is designed to equip emerging professionals with hands-on exposure to real-world datasets, business intelligence tools, market research processes, and programme performance monitoring systems. Key Responsibilities Data Management & Quality Assurance Support the collection, cleaning, validation, and management of programme and research data. Assist in maintaining databases and ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity. Support the organization and documentation of datasets and data management processes. Contribute to data governance and data security practices in accordance with organizational standards. Data Analysis & Insights Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Support market assessments, value chain analyses, and programme performance reviews. Assist in conducting statistical analysis and interpreting findings for technical and non-technical audiences. Contribute to the generation of evidence that informs programme design and implementation. Dashboards & Data Visualization Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools. Create charts, visualizations, and interactive reports that communicate programme performance and impact. Assist in designing user-friendly data products for internal and external stakeholders. Support the automation of recurring reports and analytical processes where feasible. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Assist in tracking programme indicators and performance metrics. Support monitoring and evaluation activities, including surveys, assessments, and learning reviews. Contribute to the preparation of monitoring reports and learning briefs.
