Counsel patients on the proper use, dosage, storage, and potential side effects of medications. Receive, verify, store, and organize pharmaceutical stock while ensuring proper labeling and storage conditions. Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and perform expiry checks to minimize stock losses. Maintain accurate dispensing records and ensure proper documentation of pharmacy transactions. Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations, Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) guidelines, and internal pharmacy procedures. Uphold high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety within the pharmacy. Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and professional ethics. Qualifications & Experience Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution. Certificate in Pharmaceutical Technology. Registered Pharmaceutical Technologist with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB), Kenya. Valid Annual Practising Licence issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board. At least one (1) year of experience in a retail, hospital, or community pharmacy. Experience using pharmacy management systems and Point-of-Sale (POS) software is an added advantage. Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products, dispensing procedures, OTC medications, and inventory management. Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
