He/She conducts detailed surveys and assessments of land and properties to determine suitability for construction or development Min Qualification: Bachelors Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 5 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Nairobi, Kenya Job descriptions & requirements JOB VACANCY NO INTEX/T/SS15072026/001 JOB TITLE Site Surveyor REPORTING LINE Site Engineer/Agent TERMS OF CONTRACT Fixed Term Contract KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ü Performing site surveys using tools like GPS, GIS, drones, and laser equipment to collect accurate measurements and data. ü Creating detailed maps, plans, and reports for architects, engineers, and construction managers ü Verifying project plans against physical site conditions to ensure accuracy and compliance ü Monitoring and measuring land and building boundaries to prevent legal disputes ü Providing technical advice and support during construction, including guidance on site layout, excavation, grading, and utility installation ü Ensuring compliance with local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations ü Collaborating with project teams , including architects, engineers, and construction managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. ü Supervise field staff and ensure proper calibration of instruments ü Ensure compliance with local and national surveying regulations ü Adhere to all QSHE procedures, policies and instructions. ü Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Site adherence to company policies, processes and procedures, target achievement, LT/IAs, site financial management. KEY KNOWLEDGE ü Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics/Geospacial, Civil Engineering, or related field from a recognized institution ü At least 5 years+ of experience ü Valid professional surveyor license or certification ü Proficiency in CAD software, GPS, GIS, and other surveying tools COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED ü Strong mathematical and analytical skills ü Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities ü Effective communication and teamwork skills ü Physical stamina for outdoor fieldwork in various condition ü Be self-driven and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills ü Good command in English language ü Sound management / leadership skills while demonstrating a passion for performance and BEHAVIOR: ALL ARE ESSENTIAL Takes initiative, works with collegiality, is resourceful, professional, must behardworking, have a strong sense of work ethics, honest and loyal.
