Role Purpose Ensure that Finance systems and processes across the Group are aligned to strategy and deliver efficient, effective, well-controlled and well-governed Finance operations. The role supports continuous improvement of Finance business processes, strengthens internal control and governance requirements, and drives adoption of best practice, digitisation, artificial intelligence, robotic process automation and other emerging technologies across Finance operations. Responsibilities Finance Process Review, Analysis and Continuous Improvement Review and analyse Finance business processes across the Group to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, duplication and opportunities for standardisation. Recommend and support implementation of process improvements that enhance accuracy, timeliness, governance and user experience. Support standardisation of Finance policies, procedures, operating models and controls across subsidiaries where applicable. Finance Systems Needs Assessment and Solution Design Assess Finance system needs and define business requirements for new or enhanced system capabilities. Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in existing Finance systems, workflows, data flows, reports and controls. Work with IT, vendors and business users to translate Finance requirements into practical system and process design outputs. System and Process Improvement Projects Lead or support Finance system and process improvement initiatives from requirements definition through design, testing, data migration, deployment and post go-live support. Coordinate user acceptance testing, issue resolution, cutover readiness and transition to business-as-usual support. Support data migration activities, including mapping, validation, reconciliation and user sign-off. Finance Systems and Process SME Support Act as a Finance systems and process subject matter expert for Oracle E-Business Suite, EPM, banking finance processes and related enterprise platforms. Review and resolve end user system and process challenges in liaison with IT teams, system vendors and business process owners. Provide practical guidance to users on system usage, process compliance, issue escalation and root-cause resolution. Digitisation, Automation and Emerging Technology Adoption Support adoption of digitisation, AI, RPA and other emerging technologies to improve Finance process efficiency, controls and analytics. Identify automation use cases across Finance processes and support the design of sustainable operating and governance arrangements. Promote adoption of best practices in process documentation, workflow automation, controls monitoring and exception management. Change Management, Training and Adoption Prepare and deliver training for end users on current and planned Finance system and process enhancements. Develop user guides, process documentation, change communications and support materials to drive adoption. Support change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, readiness tracking and post-implementation adoption reviews. Core Accountabilities and Deliverables Finance systems and processes aligned to Group strategy and Finance transformation priorities. Documented process reviews, gap assessments, business requirements and improvement recommendations. Implemented system and process enhancements that improve efficiency, controls, governance and user experience. Effective UAT, data migration support, training, adoption and post go-live stabilisation for Finance initiatives. Timely resolution or escalation of Finance system and process issues in liaison with IT, vendors and process owners. Updated process documentation, user guides, training materials and change management artefacts. Qualifications Technical skills Deep knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite core Finance modules and related end-to-end Finance processes. Working knowledge of Oracle EPM modules and financial reporting, planning, budgeting or consolidation processes. Strong understanding of banking Finance processes and source systems, including Finacle and Way4.
