The candidate will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals facing mental health, emotional, behavioural, and addiction-related challenges while supporting their journey toward recovery. Min Qualification: Bachelors Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Kenya Job descriptions & requirements Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized clinical tools. Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for clients. Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Manage clients with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other psychological conditions. Develop and implement rehabilitation and relapse prevention programmes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports, and treatment records. Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, counsellors, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions where necessary. Participate in case conferences, multidisciplinary meetings, and clinical reviews. Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families. Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Experience Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology (Mandatory). Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Kenya. Valid practising licence will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification clinical experience , preferably within a rehabilitation centre, psychiatric hospital, mental health facility, or addiction treatment setting. Demonstrated experience conducting psychological assessments and delivering psychotherapy. Strong understanding of DSM-5/ICD diagnostic frameworks and evidence-based treatment models. Excellent interpersonal, communication, report writing, and counselling skills. High level of professionalism, empathy, integrity, and emotional intelligence. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
