The internship provides learning opportunities within Oxfam International’s inequality campaigns team and exposure to wider Oxfam work to build capacity. A learning plan will be jointly developed with the line manager. Key Intern Responsibilities: Coordinate teams through regular calls and outreach. Support development of project work plans and track implementation. Conduct desktop research and analysis for policy, research and campaign activities. Assist in developing campaign materials including social media and research products. Perform other duties as assigned. What This Role Offers Opportunity to align projects with personal development plans. Exposure to Oxfam’s inequality campaigns across advocacy, public campaigns and policy. Learn and understand inequality issues at national and global levels. Develop project management, advocacy and influencing skills. Strengthen research skills in development contexts. Build relationships within and outside Oxfam. Key Intern Competencies Essential Self‑awareness of strengths, weaknesses and impact on others. Knowledge of socio‑economic environment at national and global levels, especially inequality. Ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders with tact and diplomacy. Fluent written and spoken English. Demonstrable project management, organizational and time management skills. Desire to acquire technical professional experience: in the INGO sector. Ability to lead projects that inspire delivery. Strong writing and editing skills. Proficiency with MS Office applications. Flexible, adaptive and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
