The role supervises Lead Generators, drives sales activities, expands business opportunities, ensures compliance, and contributes to team development. Key Responsibilities Supervision of Lead Generators (40%) Enable Lead Generators with tools and information to optimize sales. Achieve annual sales targets through delegation and monitoring. Set individual targets for products, assets, liabilities, and campaigns. Manage attendance, leave approvals, and daily field activities. Motivate staff and recognize performance through Absa schemes. Identify training needs and arrange interventions. Participate in recruitment, induction, and disciplinary processes. Ensure Lead Generators understand compensation plans. Supervision of Sales Activities (30%) Supervise product promotion campaigns and cascade key messages. Train staff on products and new application forms. Monitor sales performance daily, weekly, and monthly. Provide results to Regional Sales Managers. Business Expansion (10%) Work with Regional Sales Managers to unlock sales in companies. Drive activations and financial trainings. Generate leads for new company sign‑ups. Operational Rigour, Compliance & Controls (10%) Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Absa policies. Manage risks and incidents relevant to the role. Ensure accuracy of account applications, loan documents, and Barclaycard applications. Achieve operational rigour excellence and green audit outcomes. Comply with risk and rigour requirements (HSSE, KYC, AML). Manage leave, reporting, absences, and exit processes for Lead Generators. Maintain performance records and use LG management tools. Team Development (5%) Share knowledge and best practices with Sales Managers and Lead Generators. Provide cover for other Sales Managers when required. Deputize for Regional Sales Manager when necessary. Personal Development (5%) Agree annual performance objectives with Regional Sales Manager. Pursue continuous improvement through training and development programmes. Education & Qualifications Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce, and Management Studies (Required).
