Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is hiring a Member, Energy & Petroleum Tribunal (Advocate) to provide legal expertise, review energy and petroleum disputes, interpret relevant laws, and support fair tribunal decisions. A Bachelor’s degree in Law is required, admission as an Advocate is required, and relevant legal experience is required. Qualifications: Pursuant to Section 26 (1) (b) and (3) of the Energy Act, 2019, a person to be appointed as a Member of Energy and Petroleum Tribunal must possess the following qualifications. Hold a law degree from a recognized university, Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Have knowledge and experience in law, petroleum, and energy Must not be in the employment of the Government, Agency, or the Authority Must be a citizen of Kenya; Be a member of the relevant professional association in good standing Qualification and experience in alternative dispute resolution will be an added advantage.
