Main Duties & Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for trust clients, beneficiaries, and related stakeholders, providing expert advisory support on trust structures and fiduciary services. Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with settlors, beneficiaries, and advisers to effectively meet client needs and fulfill trust purposes. Own the full client lifecycle, from onboarding to ongoing portfolio reviews, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Drive financial performance and growth of the trust portfolio, including revenue generation, billing, and collections. Ensure timely execution of trustee duties, including distributions, reporting, and accurate record-keeping in accordance with trust deeds, governing documents, and fiduciary obligations. Maintain up-to-date client and beneficiary information to support prudent fiduciary decision-making. Ensure all trusts are administered in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and KCB policies and procedures. Conduct regular compliance, KYC, and AML reviews, and ensure timely resolution of any identified issues. Manage and mitigate risks associated with trust services and ensure audit readiness at all times. Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with internal teams (Retail and Corporate Banking). Prepare periodic portfolio reports, client updates, and management reports. Facilitate trust meetings, including preparing documentation and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. Attend client meetings and deliver presentations as required. Maintain high ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism in all dealings. Support team development, including mentoring, motivation, and self-development. Perform any other duties as may be assigned. Essential: University Degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, or its equivalent from a recognized institution. CISI (Wealth Management) or CIFA certification Strong understanding of trust services, wealth management, private banking, fiduciary services and regulatory frameworks Work experience: & Skills: Five (5) years’ experience: in trust administration, private banking, or wealth management Five (5) years’ experience: in client relationship management and business development. Five (5) years’ experience: dealing with investment, pension and insurance products within the Kenyan market. Knowledge of trust law, succession planning, fiduciary responsibilities, and regulatory frameworks (RBA, CMA, IRA, Trustees Act). Strong persuasion, management, and communication skills High level of professionalism, integrity and fiduciary responsibility.
