The HR Assistant acts as a bridge between management and employees, ensuring smooth HR operations, fostering positive workplace relations, and maintaining full compliance with Kenyan labour laws and EPZ regulatory standards. Focus: Operational HR coordination, employee engagement, and compliance management. Min Qualification: Diploma Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Kenya Job descriptions & requirements Reports To : HR Manager Location : Export Processing Zone (EPZ), - Athi River. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES a. Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding. b. Serve as first point of contact for employee queries. c. Support employee relations and grievance resolution. d. Assist performance management and training coordination. e. Administer benefits and payroll inputs. f. Ensure policy compliance and legal adherence. g. Prepare HR reports and maintain HRIS data. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS a. Diploma in Human Resources or related field. b. Valid IHRM Certificate — MANDATORY. c. 2-3 years HR administrative experience (Experience with high-traffic, semi-informal field workers — Added Advantage). d. Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws, Union, & EPZ regulations. e. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. f. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills g.
