Scope of the Role Corporate Partnerships, Training, and Consultancy Professional Development & Executive Education Admissions Market Development & Relationship Management Reporting, Administration, and Pipeline Coordination Key Responsibilities Corporate Partnerships, Training & Consultancy Identify and approach hotels, hospitality businesses, corporates, and associations requiring training, consulting, or advisory services. Build and maintain a pipeline of corporate training and consultancy opportunities. Conduct needs‑assessment meetings with HR, operations, and senior management. Translate organizational needs into briefs for customized proposals. Recommend suitable open‑enrolment or customized programmes. Manage business development cycle: outreach, meetings, proposals, negotiation, and signing agreements. Coordinate with academic and consulting teams to ensure solutions meet client needs. Maintain client relationships through reviews, renewals, and upselling. Represent institution at industry networking events. Professional Development & Executive Education Admissions Identify and engage prospective participants for programmes. Build pipeline of professionals, managers, executives, and organizational nominees. Provide accurate information on programme content, schedules, fees, and outcomes. Guide prospects through enquiry, application, admission, and enrolment. Follow up consistently to convert enquiries into enrolments. Support corporate clients in registering employees. Maintain calendar of programme cohorts and recruitment campaigns. Track conversion performance across admissions pipeline. Market Development & Relationship Management Build relationships with professional bodies, networks, associations, and employers. Identify opportunities for collaborations, sponsorships, and long‑term agreements. Develop referral networks to generate qualified leads. Monitor market demand and emerging skills needs. Represent institution at conferences, exhibitions, and forums. Reporting, Administration & Coordination Maintain accurate business development and admissions database using CRM. Record client contacts, proposals, agreements, and follow‑up actions. Ensure each lead has documented status, next action, and expected value. Prepare weekly activity updates and monthly performance reports. Share market intelligence on competitors, demand trends, and pricing. Participate in pipeline review and performance meetings. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Hospitality Management, Education, Public Relations, or related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or outreach. Proven ability to build networks, pipelines, and secure agreements in Kenya. Experience converting prospects into enrolments or engagements. Experience engaging HR managers, hotel managers, operations leaders, and decision‑makers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Hospitality sector experience strongly preferred. Experience in executive education or professional development admissions highly preferred. Existing networks in hospitality, education, professional services, or corporate sectors.
