Critical Care Nurse providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/HDU, requiring a Diploma in Nursing with a Higher Diploma in Critical Care Nursing and 2+ years experience, in a healthcare environment, on-site role. Overall Responsibility To provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients by delivering continuous assessment, advanced patient monitoring, life-support interventions, and evidence-based nursing care while ensuring patient safety and quality clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/HDU. Monitor patients\’ vital signs and promptly respond to changes in clinical condition. Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and blood products safely and accurately. Operate and monitor critical care equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps. Assist in emergency procedures, resuscitation, and advanced life support interventions. Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation. Implement infection prevention and patient safety protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Educate and support patients\’ families regarding treatment and ongoing care. Ensure proper use and maintenance of critical care equipment and supplies.
